Here’s one more wedding from last summer. Bea and James had a gorgeous wedding at Trudder Lodge in County Wicklow. There are so many amazing wedding venues around Dublin for small and intimate weddings but Trudder Lodge is definitely one of my favorites. “Nestled in the heart of Wicklow, the house, built in 1835, is an idyllic location, tucked away in parkland and woods…” That’s why I think Bea&James instantly loved Trudder Lodge. From the first moment they gushed about the fact that they chose that place! The venue is surrounded gardens and pathways and little streams. It’s kinda the perfect venue for easy going couples who want more of an outdoorsy feeling for the day.
They are both into art, music, funny snaps and just having the best time with their family and friends. And they made it so easy for me on the day 🙂 I appreciated the fact that they both are really into photography and wanted less posed and more natural photos of their Big day.
I love how the whole day went, it was a relaxed and fun summer wedding with so many little details which made it all the more special and unique. The couple chose wedding wands instead of confetti for the church exit and they drove away in the coolest old timer (don’t ask me what car it was, have no idea, I only know it looked really cool 🙂 ! The whole day was filled with so much beautiful flowers and flowery details. The tables were perfectly styled. They had “Wedding Schnaps” (that theiy brought from their vacation in Croatia) on dinner tables which was so amazing to me (since, you know, I’m Croatian)! Plus they had traditional Irish dancers and a “Shue game” after first dance. It was a combination of their personal experiences and family traditions but all done with so much style!
Dear Bea and James, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your Big day!!
