Last summer I photographed a beautiful Gloster house wedding. Linda and Sean booked me a year earlier and told me about this amazing new venue they booked in County Offaly. Gloster house is like a hidden gem in the heart of Ireland and to quote National Inventory of Architectural Heritage “While the impressive façade of Gloster House might amaze visitors, it is the interior that will astonish.” And this is completely true. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this place.
Linda and Sean’s wedding was quite beautiful and very emotional. It was about friends and family and you could sense that through out the whole day. They surprised their guests at the start of the day by inviting them an hour earlier for an afternoon tea before the ceremony. The bride could see the guest arriving through the window and couldn’t wait for the day to start. The humanist ceremony was held at the first floor gallery which was beautifully decorated by Richard Haslam. After the ceremony we took some portraits in beautiful gardens surrounding the house. And the day finished by releasing of the lanterns in the gardens and dancing to Camembert Quartet, and these guys are one of the best wedding band I’ve heard so far.
Linda & Sean, thank you so much for trusting me to document your Big day!!
And big thanks to my second shooter for the day Ivana Strbic!
