Time to show you gorgeous marquee wedding I photographed in County Connemara at the beginning of summer. Honestly I could photograph this kind of wedding any day of the week!
Sophie and Robbie are young couple living in Dublin who chose to have a very relaxed and rustic wedding at family holiday home in gorgeous part of Ireland- Clifden, County Connemara. Getting to Clifden was a bit of challenge but trust me, that part of Ireland is just out of this world… and so worth the ride!
When I initially met them and heard their plan for their big day, I instantly loved it! They knew having the wedding at their family home could be a challenge, but they took this risk. And it payed off big time. The house is a very special place for her and her family, it’s been in the family for many years and holds many memories. When I got there I could see that the house has real character and is perfect setting for their big day.
The reception was held in the garden of the house with so many perfect rustic details and some fire pits for when it gets dark. The dinner was in a stretch tent marquee overlooking the lake next to the house! Also tent is decorated with rustic style furniture – wooden tables and benches. As a result the whole wedding was a group effort by their families and friends. And it turned out perfectly, pure magic!
Thanks so much Sophie and Robbie for having me, it was such an amazing day!
